Waschcenter Deisterstraße

unfortunately not a great experience. lots of machines broken, very busy with machines and people tried to steal my money when i was going back to check the number of my machine. after pressing the button for my machine i took the powder from the side and turned around to find someone taking my washing out of my machine, putting theirs in and turning it on. when i tried to explain to him that i was there, he proceeded to pretend he didn’t speak german, i then said it in english and he just kept saying ‘money money’ at me rubbing his fingers together. my takeaway: do not go here on your own at busy times, take someone with you to stand at your machine and know EXACTLY what you need to do. people will also commonly use this as a begging spot due to the need for cash to use the services. do not leave your money or your items at any point in here. when you are able to successfully use the machines, there aren’t any problems.

Good and functional but very warm in summer and maybe needs a bit more maintenance to "refresh" the old ambience
