There are places and people so good that you want to gatekeep them. You want to keep them to yourself and treasure them all on your own. YogaSix is one of those places for me. I would prefer it if people did not know about it—if it were my private oasis, and if I could have it all for myself. But the word is out, and more and more people are discovering this magical studio, so I have to talk about it. YogaSix is just wonderful. And I’m not just talking about the facilities (which are amazing): spotless locker rooms, showers with products always available, and even a Dyson air dryer. What really makes this place special, though, is the people. You will not find anyone more welcoming, kind, and uplifting than the staff at YogaSix. There are too many great people to name, but take a class with Juliane, Baghti, Isabel, or Peter, and you will know exactly what I mean. And it’s not just the teachers—you’re always welcomed with warmth and a smile the moment you walk through the door. This is a judgment-free space where everyone is welcome just as they are. It’s also a great place for expats and people who don’t speak German. I’ve never felt out of place for not speaking German. Everyone is very accommodating, and classes are available in English. There are lots of expats in class, and the atmosphere is always accepting and friendly. Coming from the USA and the hot yoga culture there, I was really missing a hot yoga studio when I moved to Frankfurt. YogaSix gave me exactly what I needed and so much more: community, acceptance, and a place that makes you excited to show up. I’ve been a member since YogaSix Frankfurt opened, and it’s only gotten better. So, if you’re looking for a hot yoga studio, do yourself a favor and don’t settle for anything less than YogaSix. You will not find anything better.
